MVFC provides an environment focused on player development, both as a person and a player. We believe in family values, being humble in victory and respect for each other. Our core belief is quality before quantity. Every player is important to us and not just a number on a spreadsheet.

All our coaches are required to take advantage of our coaching education program. Knowledgeable coaches create knowledgeable players. Coaches must have a love for the game, making our players better people with character and fairness.

Club Structure

We have first refusal on all our fields that are well maintained, and exclusive access to a lighted facility. We have an onsite club room for team meetings and game preparation.

Club Structure

We are a 501C3 club with an administrative support team. We are a coach run club, with a pathway  to the top playing circuits. Club officials are required to be regularly on the fields and available for questions. There are no "front office" positions our office is the soccer field. We also invest in our fields rather than club vehicles. Our facilities promote our culture.

Player Pathway

Player development curriculum with regular player evaluation. Grassroots to competitive soccer culminating in a soccer tour to England and experience international competition. We regularly coordinate with top Academy clubs in England and follow their ideas, players from 8 to 13 must learn 80% what they learn lifetime concerning basic skills

Mission Viejo Cup, the MV Lions Cup a presence on the Chamber of Commerce and participation in City events 5K walk gives us a place in the Community.

We have retained our identity MVFC.  We determine our curriculum teams etc. and believe that one coach cannot provide a player all they need. We regularly coordinate with top Academy clubs in England.

For young players just starting out ages 4-8 we have our young gunners program, a weekly training session for the little soccer players where the learn the foundations of soccer and basic soccer skills.

We have many teams in the SoCal Competitive Leagues, this league caters to all ages and level of competition from the high end NPL league to the beginner levels in Flight 3 there is an option for everyone no matter your level.

Our Premier Program offers players who are looking to challenge themselves at the highest level.  With teams in the Elite Academy and ECNL / ECRL we have options for players who are fully committed to soccer!
